What did YOU see today? While on a bike ride, I saw this banner at the little league baseball field in Shelby Park in East Nashville.
I'm very proud of the diversity that this banner and East Nashville's community little league represents and supports. There's a gentrification going on in my home section and I hope for it to cease. I'd like a world where children play together, grow up together and live their adult lives together, all the while sharing their unique heritage and culture with one another. Here's to diversity and here's to sports that encourage children and young adults to live together, organize together, work together, to have fun together, to stand their ground and "SWING". I played baseball on the boys league until I was 15 years old. I loved it and I got to know the boys on my team! I'm grateful for it. Here's a link to a free download of my song, "Swing". Swing uses baseball as a metaphor for standing your ground and carrying on with belief in yourself. Download it now for free. Just click this link, and it's yours.
