On Wednesday I wrote out a check for $1520.00 to Canine Performance Sciences at Auburn University.  CPS is the group I've been telling you about for almost a year now at my shows after I sing "Go Get Joe"....a song about a prisoner and his dog Joe.  The program trains puppies to sniff out explosive materials to help keep all of us safe.  CPS couples puppies with inmates.  The inmates help to train the puppies.  It is a hugely successful program that benefits inmates and puppies. 

I enclosed a note with the check saying that it is on behalf of me and my "wonderfully generous fans" that the check is being presented. 

YOU DID THIS.  I'm so grateful to all of you who have purchased a dog shirt online or at one of my shows/made a donation to the fund.  This is the shirt (it comes in brown too)... 

You can still order yours here and you can make an additional donation here (100% of donations go to CPS). 

For every shirt sold, "One Fish Two Fish Music Publishing" (that's my company) donates $5.00 (in some cases $10) to CPS. 

Through your generosity we will help this program to do more great work.
